Anna Hoyt is 17 years old and a senior at Kelly Walsh High School. She has had 7 years of dance and tumbling training. Over these years, she has had the opportunity to take classes and workshops from several conventions outside of Wyoming, including Jump, 24/7 Dance, and Hollywood Vibe. Anna has attended a two week intensive at Snowy Range Dance Festival and danced along side the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble in the piece Harvest. She firmly believes that taking a dance or tumbling class has much more to offer than flexibility and strength. In her classroom, respect and self discipline are the most important things. Anna’s philosophy is that students need to be pushed by their instructors, but also cultivate the self discipline to push themselves and respect their peers. While Anna is still in high school, she plans to graduate this spring just short of an associates degree at Casper College through the BOCES program.
