Aubrey has been dancing at Rising Star since she was three and assisted classes for several years before becoming a Rising Star staff member. She has received training from summer intensives at Kansas City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Butler Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival. While training with Hubbard Street, Aubrey had the privilege to learn company repertoire. In 2016 and 2018 Aubrey was awarded choreography awards at Spotlight Dance Cup for her pieces. Some of Aubrey’s favorite performances include the Arabian pas de deux for Wyoming Symphony Orchestra’s Nutcracker and dancing alongside Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble in Harvest. Aubrey has been the president of the Rising Star chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts for three years. At KWHS, she is an honors and AP student, as well as being involved in NHS and French Honor Society. Outside of her time at the studio, she is enamored in the art of film and culinary arts. Aubrey is very excited to be teaching discipline, correct technique, and lifelong social skills in her classes at Rising Star!
