Meet Miss Aliscia – Dance & Tumbling Instructor at Rising Star
Miss Aliscia is a passionate and experienced dance and tumbling instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience at Rising Star Tumbling & Dance Studio in Casper, Wyoming. Her journey with Rising Star began when she started tumbling with Miss Dorothy at just 2 years old, and dancing with Miss Dodie at age 5 — and she hasn’t stopped moving since!
From Student to Award-Winning Choreographer
As a child, Miss Aliscia quickly advanced in tumbling and dance, becoming a competitive dancer with the Rising Star Dance Company. In high school, she competed in gymnastics and was one of the lead choreographers for her school’s dance production company, where her love for teaching and choreography truly took root.
She began teaching classes at Rising Star at the young age of 15, and has been inspiring young dancers and tumblers ever since.
Teaching Philosophy & Style
Miss Aliscia is known for her energetic teaching style, creative choreography, and deep connection with her students. She treats every child at the studio as if they were her own, believing that the lessons taught in class go far beyond just dance or tumbling — they are lessons in discipline, confidence, and joy.
While she specializes in Jazz and Tap, Miss Aliscia is a versatile instructor who is happy to take on any class style. Her choreography has earned numerous awards at competitions, with routines performed by dancers from the Rising Star Dance Company.
Family & Studio Life
Shortly after officially joining the Rising Star teaching staff, Miss Aliscia married her husband, Ben, and welcomed their son, Trayton. Her family plays a central role in her life, and that same care and love extends into every class she teaches.
Whether she’s choreographing a high-energy jazz number or guiding beginners through their first tumbling passes, Miss Aliscia brings passion, creativity, and heart to everything she does. With decades of experience and a lifelong connection to Rising Star, she’s truly a cornerstone of the studio.
