Miss Aliscia started tumbling with Miss Dorothy at the age of 2. She began dancing with Miss Dodie at the age of 5 and hasn’t stopped moving since!She was an advanced tumbler and a member of the competitive dance company at Rising Star. In high school, she competed in gymnastics and was one of the main choreographers for the dance production company. Her love of teaching started at a very young age when she was given the opportunity to demonstrate. She began teaching at the age of 15. Shortly after signing on to teach at Rising Star, Miss Aliscia married Ben and had her son Trayton. She loves the students at the studio as if they are her own and that the lessons she is teaching are far more than “just” a dance or tumbling class. While she specializes in Jazz and Tap, there isn’t a style or class that she won’t take on! Miss Aliscia has earned many choreography awards for pieces performed by Rising Star Dance Company dancers. With 20+ years of teaching experience, Miss Aliscia is ready to take on the world!
