Dancing Star and Tiny Star performers are released directly after their performance in the lobby of the auditorium. They will be with Volunteers and released when a parent comes to get them. All other performers will be released after the finale in the auditorium directly from the stage. These performers will be released by their teacher when parents come to the stage to get them.
There are many lights on stage that wash out the dimensions of a person’s 3-dimensional face. Therefore, it is hard to see their expressions. Adding stage make-up exaggerates the features of the face and helps to show the expressions of the performers from the audience. Overall, it helps to ensure they can be seen and recognized from the back of the audience.
Our Recitals are about 2-2 ½ hours in length. We do not have an intermission. Each Recital has a Finale/Bow at the end of the recital that allows the performers to come together one last time and receive one last applause for the hard work and dedication they put into their performance.
