Tricia Lovelace

Tricia is new to teaching she is no stranger to the stage. She earned her AA in theatre performance under the tutelage of the late, great Thomas Empey and brings more than 30 years of performance experience to the Rising Star staff. Still an active member of the local theatre community, she has been seen on stage with the Casper College Department of Theatre of Dance, Stage III Community Theatre and Theatre of the Poor. Notable stage credits include Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter, Carol in Oleanna, Io in Prometheus, Beatrice in The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds, Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, The Woman in Death of a Salesman, Agnes in Agnes of God, Miss Julie in Miss Julie, Calpurnia in Julius Caesar, Gertrude in Hamlet, Mrs. Smith in The Bald Soprano, Sadako in A Thousand Cranes and Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Acting is her first love and something she is truly passionate about and she cannot wait to share her love of performing with Rising Star students and staff.
